… One in which science-based regenerative farming systems create a healthy and resilient vineyard making distinct wines with profound voices that initiate new dialogues — between the land and its farmers and between its winemakers and the community.
While we listen to nature at every turn, the most prominent voice in our dialogue with the vines is data. By examining our farming practices through data — from soil biology (soil tests), plant health (leaf and sap analysis), and nutrient content (secondary metabolite analysis) — we can better understand the impact these practices have on the living vineyard and the wines that come from it.
Imagine if a bottle of wine could point us towards a stronger, more symbiotic Earth …
We conduct annual and ongoing experiments to study how the grapes’ nutrient concentration — the antioxidants, flavonoids, and phenolic acids that contribute to a wine’s distinct personality — fluctuate with growing conditions, soil biology, and plant health, which allows us to develop wines with a deep sense of origin. We don’t use data to manipulate our annual releases but, rather, to better understand how high-quality viticulture can serve our ecosystem broadly, improving soil biome, plant strength, and overall human vitality.
To pursue these goals, we lean on an interdisciplinary team of experts, including viticulturist and winemaker Jarad Hadi, soil biologist Rachel Cross, soil consultant Nick Tomasini, second-generation farmers from the Mendoza and Abarca families, and numerous members of the Rehnborg family, who are rooted in their pioneering, 90-year legacy of harnessing plant materials in nutritional supplements.

Our 93-acre estate in the Willamette Valley comprises a polyculture vineyard, orchard, market garden, herb garden, and conservatory .
The Rehnborg Farm is in Helvetia, Oregon, where wildly varied ecological habitats and flora support pollinators for the estate’s vineyards, perennial fruit trees, sundry flowers, and restorative cover crops — and all elements of the living food web are connected, and respected.
